Minnesota Twins: Bigger goals

Move over Chicago White Soxs, The Twins are back and ready again. This season, the Minnesota Twins look healthy and better then they have looked in recent years. For starters, their big bat Justin Morneau should be back in full action from his concussion July 7 against Toronto. Hope are high for this team with a healthy offense. One of the key concerns for this team will be starting pitching. A few of the Twins starters had minor surgery in the offseason questioning their health during the longer baseball season. Do not be surprise twins fans that Minnesota makes key trades during the year to improve their starting rotation as well as their bullpen. Another key showing during this Spring training, Joe Nathan work load is now increasing. Will he become the closer after last season Tommy John surgery? We have to see how Nathan the staff and Nathan respond. I would say he is ready to return to his control as Minnesota's closer.

Twins Fan prepare for a deep playoff run this year. With a healthy offense and increasing healthy pitching rotation, I wouldn't be surprise if the Twins make a run like the San Francisco Giants did in 2010. Do not worry about the Chicago White Soxs, they will stand no chance this year.

  1. The Minnesota Twins will be done by June 1st. Morneau may never play again as he gets concussions tying his shoes! They have no bullpen to speak of and the White Sox have a scary lineup and rotation.
